Monthly Stories is a monthly substack newsletter published at the end of each month by the Public Works story studio.

 

 

​The studio is led by a writer-designer collaboration; Shamalee de Silva and Alain Parizeau. With stories at the center of our work, we operate in the space bridging businesses and their customers.

We curate each publication around a particular Jungian archetype and Rasa theory emotional spectrum; if you don’t know what those are, don’t worry, we cover that too. It features a story we’ve written or produced that channels the archetype and rasa, we talk about other authors, designers, and artists whose work also has similar attributes, including music, films, publications, artist works, music/playlists, and films. There are things to listen to, look at, think about, buy, and inspire you. We also include some insights we’ve learnt as professionals to help other storytellers and entrepreneurs better articulate their businesses.
